We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Insurance Specialist. This role encompasses both sales and service responsibilities, catering to both new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of sales acumen and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse portfolio of insurance products. Whether it's servicing existing accounts, writing new policies, or addressing client inquiries, the Insurance Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth. Property and casualty insurance experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Client Servicing
- Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct policy reviews to ensure clients' coverage aligns with their evolving needs and circumstances.
- Assist clients with policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
Sales Generation
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the client base.
- Educate clients on various insurance products and tailor solutions to meet their individual needs.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals effectively.
Policy Administration
- Process new insurance applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, transactions, and policy information.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless policy issuance and administration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in insurance sales and/or customer service roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and software systems.
